School Counselor
Alexandra Savidge is the school counselor working to support the emotional well-being of our students. Mrs. Ali has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Clinical Social Work. She has twenty years of experience in the mental health field working with children as well as international school experience.
She utilizes child-centered, strengths-based approaches in her school counseling. Mrs. Ali is dedicated to helping students find solutions to emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Student can see Mrs. Ali to address emotional regulation, self-esteem, stress management, improving friendships, conflict resolution, self-care, and positive thinking. Mrs. Ali collaborates with students, teachers, the learning support specialist, and parents to implement skill building to reach counseling goals.
Students may see Mrs. Ali for individual counseling, group counseling, and classroom lessons. Parents are encouraged to meet with Mrs. Ali as well to provide a wraparound support for the students as needed.
